I meet anxious thoughts with patience

I meet anxious thoughts with patience, compassion, and steady breath.
Peace grows as I choose calm responses over fearful reactions.
At times, anxiety can feel like the overachiever in your life with a flair for drama. It shows up early, talks loudly, and insists on preparing you for things that may never happen. Then, all of a sudden, your brain is running emergency fight-or-flight drills while you are trying to respond to an email. It is exhausting, and no, you are not weak for feeling it.
Further, the most difficult part about anxiety is that it loves the future and ignores the present. It thrives on "what if's" and mental ruminations or playbacks. And whenever anxiety makes an appearance, it is usually well before the actual issue occurs. This is why it is important to allow your attention to drift back to the present moment when you feel this way. This strategy turns down the noise, allows the room to stand still, the floor underneath you to stop shaking, and you begin to realize that nothing is chasing you. This realization alone is surprisingly calming.
The truth is that confidence does not come from never feeling anxious. Confidence appears when you decide to show up, make choices, and keep going even when your nervous system is a little frazzled. Over time, this experience builds quiet self-trust, which is far more practical than trying to remove your anxiety altogether.
KIRAJE Voice Thoughts
Remember, if progress feels slow, that is normal and you are right on track. Anxiety does not disappear on command, and it does not respond well to being bullied or told what to do. What helps is consistency, humor, self-compassion, and kindness.
Every time you come back to yourself instead of spiraling, you are strengthening your resolve, each and every time, for anxiety relief that lasts.
You are Seen. You are Known. You are Loved.
